Sunshine Means Photos!

As I mentioned in my last post, one of the penstemons is really starting to bloom and the others are starting to bud up. But I had no photos because it was raining. Woohoo! Well, the sun's out this morning and I have a photo.

Not that you can see a lot yet, but it makes me happy to see lovely purple flowers springing forth. The flat, darker green plant is Ceanothus hearstorium ("Hearst's Ceanothus"). You can also see sprouts of various kinds, some of which are starting to put on true leaves. 

Oh! And those other penstemons that are budding up? Well, they to are starting to bloom!
