Fire and Chaparral - Some Questions

I expect that the pansies that survived through the summer from last year will start blooming soon over here. Hope so, anyway, as begonias & impatiens were hit hard by Mr. Frost.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of surprised the impatiens didn't bite it in during the freeze, but the one big tub is under a canopy of foliage and the other, smaller pots are under cover of the deck roof. Apparently that was enough. Tho' the ones in the "window box" (middle-sized planter) are looking a little "weathered."
ReplyDeleteIt was rather amazing to see the nasturtiums that were directly under the eaves come out looking just swell while the leaves *just* out from under that cover all thrashed.
